COVER STORY PACKAGE LAYOUT/TIMELINE GRAPHIC (MAG/WEB)
The art director had an idea that the timeline would be used as the main item, so we decided to make it for two spreads. Since the cover image was a red and dark color, use black and red for key colors in the story layout as well. This timeline has become a base design of the timeline at the Nikkei Asian Review.

In the beginning, we got many nice images of artists, thus decided to make their big bio with pictures. And also there were nice quotes, therefore made up big designed pull quotes from each artist to stand them up.

COVER STORY PACKAGE LAYOUT/WEB BUNNER, PROFILE & SUPER NAKA (MAG/WEB)
At the first, came up with main images with the intro page, then decided to use yellow and red for the key color, and triangle for key objects. And this time was the first time to use super Naka which is the small headline for each story. Graphics except for the main image of the intro page, super Naka and quotes created by another designer, we always discussed size, colour and design in team closely.
